Implementation of Parking Portal Door Security System Using RFID and Password Based on Microcontrollers in Sriwijaya State Polytechnic

Abstract: At present the parking system on the Sriwijaya State Polytechnic campus still uses a manual parking system, where the process of entering and exiting the vehicle is still regulated by the information security personnel regarding parking arrangements using slow handy talky communication, thus requiring the officers to communicate alternately in order to get information. The problem of parking is traffic jam and uncontrolled in the parking lot of Sriwijaya State Polytechnic. And there is no automatic parking sys… Show more

“…In order to address this issue, a number of researchers have employed various sensors such as radio frequency identification (RFID) [2], [3], closed-circuit television (CCTV) [4], ultrasonic sensors [5]- [7], and passive infrared (PIR) sensors [8]- [10]. However, these sensors operate independently and are not integrated to compensate for each other's shortcomings.…”

“…Today, the tech world often uses Differential Integral Proportional (PID) control as a feedback controller. Because it is tested to be able to share control performance well, can speed up system reactions, and eliminate offsets, although it has a simple but easy-to-understand algorithm [8] [15].…”
