Implementation of Perioperative Point-of-Care Platelet Function Analyses Reduces Transfusion Requirements in Cardiac Surgery: A Retrospective Cohort Study

Abstract: Background Platelet dysfunction is a common cause of bleeding, perioperative blood transfusion, and surgical re-exploration in cardiac surgical patients.
