Graduates with “soft skills” like teamwork and the ability to motivate others to achieve a common goal are in high demand from employers. Quantitative studies have not been undertaken in several nations; Hashemite kingdom of Jordan included. Investing in soft skills training is essential for creating a high-performance work culture. One approach that helps businesses attain a high-quality work culture is training. To be successful in today’s business world, you need a blend of hard and soft skills. The term “soft talents” is often used to refer to a wide range of qualities, such as self-awareness, the ability to take criticism without personal attack, and the capacity to get along well with others. The goals of this research are probed using quantitative methods. The research is cross-sectional in nature, with data obtained from 85 participants via the use of both descriptive and inferential statistical methods. Based on the results of the correlation and regression analysis, it was shown that the training technique has a 52% effect on graduates’ employability, while soft skills have a 58% effect on graduates’ employability on their own. The influence of soft skills on learning performance has been quantified at 64%, with the impact of training methods at 59%.

Evaluation of learning outcomes is an important component in the educational process. Primarily in implementing relatively new learning facilities. The aim of this research is to evaluate student science learning outcomes. The sample consisted of 86 students who were facilitated with independent study and the PBR model. Learning outcome data is collected using the documentation method from the final assessment results sheet which becomes the grade on the student's study results card. This data was analyzed descriptively to determine the average size and proportion. To find out the comparison of science learning outcomes between semester 3 and semester 5 students, an inferential analysis was carried out using the independent sample t-test. Our findings show that the average student science learning outcomes are in the good category. As many as 94.2% of students received a pass grade in the science courses they programmed. The results of the inferential analysis that we carried out show that the science learning achievements of semester 3 and semester 5 students are significantly different. Semester 5 has higher science learning outcomes compared to semester 3 students. The results of this research prove that the implementation of independent study and the PBR model is effective in helping students to master the assigned science learning objectives well, and the semester level has a significant effect. However, the quality of the learning process needs to be improved because there is a small percentage (5.8%) whose mastery of science learning objectives cannot be categorized as passing. It is hoped that this improvement can improve their science learning outcomes, so that in the next lesson, they can reach the pass category with a good or very good interpretation.

Education is an important enabler for economic uplift of a society and academic institutions need to deliver quality education to equip students with required skills to excel in their professional careers. Due to international initiatives such as Washington and Seoul accords, outcome-based education has gained significant interest from industry, academia, governments, accreditation bodies and students. Outcome-based education is a paradigm shift form conventional education approach and its successful adoption requires sustainable quality practices by higher education institutions. Fostering quality assurance processes for outcome-based education requires careful planning and active collaboration among stakeholders. However, due to the sparse body of knowledge about quality processes in outcome-based education, many academic institutions rely on ad hoc practices, resulting in a trial and error approach. In this paper, we present set of guidelines which can help academic institutions to deploy sustainable practices in their academic programs. We document important guidelines to deliver outcome-based education based on our longitudinal work of ABET accreditation process of three different computing programs (Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, and Cyber Security and Digital Forensics). The successful application of proposed guidelines helps to foster sustainable quality practices in academic programs.
