Implication of family non-universal Z′ model to rare exclusive $b \to s(l\bar l,\nu\bar\nu)$ transitions

Abstract: We have investigated ̅ ̅ decay channels and predicted some form factor dependent observables (e.g. branching ratio, forward-backward asymmetry and lepton polarization asymmetry) considering new physics contribution from non-universal model. We have found that there is appreciable difference between the standard model and model predictions. Recently, the lepton flavour non-universality parameters and have been measured by the LHCb collaboration and are found to be different from their standard model predictions… Show more

“…(5. 19) Comparing to the SM predictions in table 2 we learn that (pseudo-)scalar contributions in b → d transitions can amount to an O(100%) correction. An improved experimental limit of B(B 0 → ν ν) at the level of ∼ 5 • 10 −7 or smaller would suffice to bring the correction to the SM at the percent-level.…”

“…(4.9) and (4.10), while limits on κ bqτ τ L from Drell-Yan data from table 3. Using flavio [49], neglecting effects from scalar and tensor operators, and considering two couplings at a time with κ L ∼ 2 C 9 ∼ 2 C 10 and κ R ∼ 2 C 9 ∼ 2 C 10 , 4 we find the following upper limits for b → s τ + τ − transitions [15,22] 7.8 [15,22] 8.4 [15,19] 7.4 [15,19] 8.1 [15, 18.8]…”

“…There are some models [60][61][62][63] which are in agreement with our result. Furthermore, our model can be used to solve the recently observed anomalies in B meson sector such as (i) , (ii) , (iii) branching ratio and angular distribution of and (iv) angular distribution of and [64][65][66][67].…”
