“…The purpose of this article was to conduct a secondary analysis of a multi-site study to explore sexual function in a sample of younger/older HIV+persons living in the United States (US) and Puerto Rico (PR). Altschuler et al (2008) surveyed 249 adults who were clients in one of 14 organizations serving adults 50 years and older in California using the Senior Adult Sexuality Scale, the Aging Sexual Knowledge and Attitudes Scale, and some additional knowledge questions specific to HIV/AIDS. They found that both white and ethnic minorities had limited knowledge about HIV/AIDS with the ethnic minorities consistently having less knowledge.…”
