The objective of this study is to explore Chinese students' preferences and decisions about studying in New Zealand. The empirical data are collected through a questionnaire, conducted among the Chinese WeChat users studying in tertiary institutions of New Zealand. While the research findings affirm that Chinese students do gain international studying information from WeChat, they may not use it as their primary channel. However, they agree that they like to obtain information about studying, politics, the economy, society, education, career development, and life in New Zealand through platforms on WeChat, and through their friends' or acquaintances' WeChat Moments.The information about the top three important factors are natural environment and general standards of safety (75%); government policies on immigration (74%); and relative stability of the society and economy (65.4%) whereas career development and life in New Zealand (56.7%); availability of scholarships (56.7%); and political and economic environment (52.9%) are of less importance to Chinese students' decisions of studying in New Zealand.

The European Union (EU) labor market needs a better-skilled workforce that can work in any of the Member States. In order to develop the skills and competencies of future competitors in this market, several student mobility programs have been set up in the EU, where they can travel to universities in partner countries to further their studies and enrich their academic performance, culture and knowledge. The best known of these programs is ERASMUS (European Region Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students). Because Romania also participates in this program in the exchange of university students, the authors wanted, through this study, to highlight the benefits and challenges of participation in the program, to analyze how international mobilities are emotionally perceived by students and what are the behavioral reasons that determine Romanian students to choose a certain university as a study destination abroad. For this purpose, the authors conducted quantitative marketing research among students from the Transilvania University of Brasov who have been abroad with ERASMUS scholarships. The research results show that an important component in choosing a certain university is not the financial expense during the mobility as might have been expected, but rather the initial desire to study abroad. Students also consider the improvement of their academic performance as an equally important reason for embarking on mobility to the social aspect of getting to know other cultures.

The main objective of this research is to identify the influence of the scientific production of universities on their international demand. Specifically, we study whether the level of international demand, and the origin of this demand, is conditioned by the volume and quality of the scientific publications produced by Universities. In order to identify the influence of the volume of scientific production of the universities on their international demand, we have carried out various analyses of variance, using as a dependent variable the international demand and as an independent variable the volume of publications per professor and also the impact of these publications. According to the results obtained, some international demand variables present significant differences depending on the number of scientific publications per university professor. Furthermore, these results show that there are no significant differences in the international attractiveness of postgraduate studies according to the impact of the scientific output of the universities. Given these results, we cannot conclude that the quality of scientific production of the Universities is a determining factor in attracting students from other countries. This first study points to a necessary reorientation of the requirements on university teaching staff if the international attractiveness of Spanish universities needs to be increased.
