Abstract:Pineapple (Ananas comosus L.) is a tropical fruit highly valued for its flavor, sweetness, aroma, and nutraceutical properties. The ‘Cayena Lisa’ cultivar is the most widely used for both fresh consumption and industrial purposes in Mexico.
