Abstract:ObjectiveGray-scale ultrasound (US) is the standard-of-care for evaluating thyroid nodules (TNs). However, the performance is better for the identification of hypoechoic malignant TNs (such as classic papillary thyroid cancer) than isoechoic malignant TNs.
