Abstract:A compact reactor for natural gas steam reforming, in which hydrogen production was coupled with an internal combustor in alternate chambers, was developed and tested. Based on the target heat transfer concept, different reactor configurations in different reaction regions were specially designed to obtain uniform temperature distributions while it also effectively avoided hot spots in the reaction zones. For all of the reactor performances, the commercial natural gas (NG) was used to produce a hydrogenrich re… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
