Abstract:Short-shunt connection of capacitors is proposed to improve the dynamic stability of the self-excited induction generator (SEIG). The transient model is deduced according to the equivalent circuits of the generator under αβ0 stationary reference frames. The state equations of the circuits are linearized locally and then solved by Runge-Kutta method.
