Improvement of short noisy chirp signals recognition

Abstract

Broadband signals with the use of linear modulation of frequency LMF (so-called chirp signals) are widely used in locations. Recognition of the chirp signals depends mainly on their compression based on the matched filtration. The short chirp signals are especially conducive to using in different fastacting and accurate systems of robotics, geophysics, remote sensing, telecommunications, and, obviously, in locations. This paper presents two simple solutions to essentially improving of the recognition resolution of the short noisy chirp signals, product BT of which does not exceed 100. The authors have found that the best result is achieved when both methods are used simultaneously.
