Improvements in sparse matrix/vector technique applications for online load flow calculation

Abstract

S p a r s i t y technique i s applied t o a wide range o f problems i n power systems a n a l y s i s .I n t h i s paper we propose several a n a l y t i c a l and computational improvements i n s p a r s i t y a p p l i c a t i o n s . The new p a r t i a l m a t r i x r e f a c t o r i z a t i o n method and o r d e r i n g a l g o r i t h m are presented.
