Abstract:Accurate diagnosis of Left Ventricular Noncompaction Cardiomyopathy (LVNC) is critical for proper patient treatment but remains challenging. This work improves LVNC detection by improving left ventricle segmentation in cardiac MR images. Trabeculated left ventricle indicates LVNC, but automatic segmentation is difficult.
