Improving “lab-on-a-chip” techniques using biomedical nanotechnology: a review

Abstract: Nanotechnology and its applications in biomedical sciences principally in molecular nanodiagnostics are known as nanomolecular diagnostics, which provides new options for clinical nanodiagnostic techniques. Molecular nanodiagnostics are a critical role in the development of personalized medicine, which features point-of care performance of diagnostic procedure. This can to check patients at point-of-care facilities or in remote or resource-poor locations, therefore reducing checking time from days to minutes. … Show more

“…The temperature is slightly above the normal body temperature of 37 C, but it is sufficient to damage the cells and prevent the damaging effects of the cancer cells. However, if it is difficult to reach the tumor, the treatment may not be plausible or effective (Asin et al 2012b, Cervadoro et al 2013, Gorjikhah et al 2016, Landi 2013, Obaidat et al 2015. Confirm that the challenge is mostly due to the low heat conversion rate.…”

“…While the external magnetic field can ensure that the nanoparticles flow to the target cells, the organic and inorganic molecules in the body can bind on the nanoparticles' surface and trap them from reaching the target area (Gudoshnikov et al 2012). But, recently an approach that could solve the problem was approved.…”

“…As in other fields, the in vitro applications of nanotechnology are the fastest to translate and the use of micro-and nanotechnology has already demonstrated high utility to investigate fundamental biology and diagnose disease. 16 Once a system has shown increased sensitivity or specificity over gold standard tests or can provide new features it will then be approved by regulatory authorities.…”
