Abstract: Pichia pastoris (Komagataella phaffii) is a fast‐growing methylotrophic yeast with the ability to assimilate several carbon sources such as methanol, glucose, or glycerol. It has been shown to have outstanding secretion capability with a variety of heterologous proteins.
