Abstract:This editorial assesses the prognostic value of preoperative inflammatory and nutritional biomarkers in patients undergoing surgical resection for pancreatic cancer. Lu et al evaluated the ability of seven biomarkers to predict postoperative recovery and long-term outcomes.
