This study raises the unity of the topics of folklore, literature teaching materials, and character education. It aims to explore character education values in endangered Central Malay folklores as a means of internalizing literature teaching. This qualitative study used five informants who not only knew the folklores but also knew the local culture of the Central Malay community in depth. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and note-taking. The data were analyzed using a thematic approach. The research findings show that Central Malay folklore has aesthetic, humanist, ethical, and religious values that can be internalized in literature learning as a form of effort to save Central Malay folklore from extinction through education. This research is not new. However, there is little information about Central Malay folklore in Indonesia. The findings provide benefits and recommendations to researchers, educators, teachers, and policymakers to collaborate and conduct further studies to save Central Malay folklore from extinction and survive in society. In addition, the importance of this research is to increase understanding and foster students' appreciation of local literature while being able to take and practice the character values contained in Central Malay folklore.

Ecological intelligence has a complex structure for improving education. Learning Indonesian needs to contain ecological intelligence. It aims to make students love, protect and preserve the environment. The purpose of this article is to analyze the way teachers carry out ecological intelligence mapping and assess the potential of advanced students at the Bengawan Solo Natural School. This research method is qualitative with a case study approach. Data and data sources were obtained from the results of document analysis, observation, and in-depth interviews with teachers and students. Test the validity of the data used in this study is the technique of data triangulation and source triangulation. The results of this study are that the teacher maps ecological intelligence by becoming a partner or co-parent in developing the potential that exists in students based on spiritual, intelligence, social-emotional, and physical and motor skills of students. The Bengawan Solo natural school has four types of assessment to measure the potential of students. The types of assessments are (1) moral assessments in the form of Al-Qur'an report cards; (2) leadership assessment in the form of narrative report cards; (3) cognitive and scientific assessments in the form of numerical report cards and portfolio reports; and (4) business assessment in the form of business reports. The Bengawan Solo Nature School does not only educate students to become great people in the future, but also has the character of loving nature and being useful to others.

The spread of the Covid-19 virus and the emergence of various variants became a global pandemic in just a matter of minutes. The Indonesian government swiftly implemented several policies to prevent the spread of the virus. In the pandemic phase which requires social distancing for the community. The government does not stop urging the public to always obey health regulations and protocols. Moreover, the role of regional governments is very central in handling the Covid-19 pandemic, even though they limit direct contact with the community, thanks to advances in science and technology, central or regional leaders can use social media to convey texts or videos in the form of appeals to the public. After passing through the pandemic phase, the time has come to rebuild and overcome various problems that have arisen due to the impact of the pandemic. Conditions after the Covid-19 pandemic have become the focus of attention of regional governments, including Regional Heads in Central Java. This research uses a qualitative research approach. The aim of qualitative research consists of describing the research object, expressing the meaning behind the phenomenon, and explaining the phenomenon that occurs. The method used is descriptive and content analysis. Data is obtained critically through speech discourse contained in content on social media and produces inferences regarding the use of spoken language as a form of speech act. The results of this research show that in the speech video of the Central Java Regional Head, Ganjar Pranowo, there is macro structure (thematic) analysis, superstructure (schematic) analysis and micro structure analysis. Macro structure analyzes discourse that influences thoughts, actions and implied ideologies. Superstructure analysis understands the way speech discourse is structured and the appearance of its interactions. Meanwhile, microstructural analysis reveals that the language conveyed by Ganjar Pranowo aims to achieve certain communications.
