Improving sustainable use of genetic resources in biodiversity archives

Abstract: Tissue sample databases housed in biodiversity archives represent a vast trove of genetic resources, and these tissues are frequently destructively subsampled and provided to researchers for DNA extractions and subsequent sequencing.
