This paper presents a review of the Internet-of-Things (IoT) through four conceptualizations: IoT as liquification and density of information of resources; IoT as digital materiality; IoT as assemblage or service system; and IoT as modules, transactions, and service. From the conceptualizations, we provide a definition of IoT and present its implications and impact on future research in Marketing that interfaces with information systems, design and innovation, data science and cybersecurity, as well as organizational studies and economics. By integrating the implications of IoT with extant literature, we then propose a set of priorities for future research in this area. Highlights• Consumer experiences with physical products will be highly visible in an era of IoT • Physical products are evolving into connected and dynamically reconfigurable service platforms that are socio-cyber-physical • Information is leaking out and liquifying everywhere and data is ubiquitous • Consumers personal data allow for personalization of the offering but could result in consumer vulnerabilities • Shifting boundaries due to information flows in an era of IoT will transform markets and exchanges

Silver particle (3 lm) carbon-matrix composites in the form of thick films (around 100 lm thick) on alumina, as prepared from pastes comprising silver and mesophase pitch particles (14 lm), have been attained. The films on alumina were fired at 650°C in nitrogen to convert pitch to carbon. The volume electrical resistivity attained ranged from 10 -5 X cm to 10 4 X cm, depending on the silver volume fraction. The percolation threshold was 12 vol% silver.

Aluminum trihydrate (ATH) is one of the most widely used fillers in solvent-borne coatings and polymer industries. To investigate its performance in powder coatings, four different pigment to binder ratios (P/B) were used in respect to different ATH concentrations in four most widely used resin systems (epoxy, epoxy-polyester, polyurethane and polyester). The angle of repose (AOR) and specific gravity of powder paints increase accordingly with ATH concentration. The mechanical properties, corrosion and UV resistance performances of coating films are enhanced or only slightly decreased with the addition of ATH. Pencil scratch hardness increase significantly with the increase of ATH content. Impact resistance decreases within 5% of the initial resistance at the maximum ATH loading. There is a slightly decrease in corrosion resistance performances of less than 2 mm of failure at scribe in all formulations. The incorporation of ATH has slight effect on the UV resistance performance of all the samples. Moreover, the matting effect of ATH is observed for all the resin systems, especially epoxy, with the specular gloss decreasing more than 70% at P/B of 0.75.
