Improving the magnetic moment of Ca2Ge and promoting the conversion of semiconductors to diluted magnetic semiconductors using Mn-doping

Abstract: Ca2Ge is converted into a dilute magnetic semiconductor by Mn-doping, where the degenerate energy levels of t2g and eg split into five orbitals. The electric orbitals are spun and exhibits ferrimagnetism with a magnetic moment of 5 μB.
