Pada dunia perkuliahan nilai indeks prestasi mahasiswa merupakan istilah yang tidak asing karena hal tersebut merupakan hasil yang didapatkan oleh mahasiswa untuk mengukur sampai sejauh mana kemampuan kita dalam mengikuti belajar mengajar di kelas. Fenomena yang diamati di Politeknik STIA LAN Jakarta menunjukan bahwa belum terdapat mahasiswa yang mencapai IP sempurna, selain itu perilaku mahasiswa yang telat mengerjakan tugas, terlambat mengikuti proses belajar mengajar, mengabaikan regulasi kampus, dan faktor eksernal lainnya hal ini menjadi faktor penyebab kurangnya motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Namun belum ada research yang membuktikan bahwa terjadi kesenjangan pada motivasi belajar mahasiswa dan hasil belajar. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini berfokus pada uji hipotesis apakah terdapat pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kuatitatif dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 27. Teknik pengambilan data penelitian yaitu menyebarkan kuesioner/angket dengan menggunakan sample sebanyak 30 responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua variabel yaitu motivasi dan hasil belajar, variabel tersebut kemudian diturunkan menjadi beberapa dimensi kemudian dimensi tersebut diturunkan kembali menjadi beberapa indikator yang digunakan menjadi pertanyaan-pertanyaan berupa kuesioner. Hasil olah data menunjukan bahwa nilai uji regresi sederhana yaitu jika t hitung yang diperolah lebih besar dari pada t tabel maka penelitian ini dikatakan terdapat pengaruh pada variabel penelitian, dan uji signifikasi yaitu jika H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima maka penelitian ini dikatakan signifikan. Simpulan penelitian ini menunjukan terdapat pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa.

The Galápagos archipelago is a vast reservoir of terrestrial and marine biodiversity and is particularly susceptible to human, animal, and environmental impacts. Climate change, globalization, and the blurring of human-domestic animal-wildlife interfaces are poised to bring new threats and challenges to the region. A One Health perspective that simultaneously considers human, animal, and environmental health is imperative in assessing and mitigating the challenges facing the Galápagos Islands. Many challenges facing biodiversity in the Galápagos Islands can ultimately be linked to anthropogenic factors. In Part I of this review, we reviewed the impacts of invasive species and identified infectious diseases of importance. In Part II of this review, we discuss the impacts of climate change and ocean acidification, and highlight the effects of several direct human activities, including tourism, overfishing, pollution, land use, and human-wildlife conflict. We also review the socioeconomic and political context of the Galápagos Islands, including current challenges in water and energy use, sanitation, and economic stability. We examine the importance of investment in local development for building resiliency and sustainability in the archipelago. Finally, we discuss the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the region. Throughout this two-part review, we build a cohesive picture of One Health in the Galápagos Islands by integrating past work, current needs, and emerging threats. We also consider overarching goals for conservation, ecosystem management, and socioeconomic sustainability that have been previously defined by both governmental and non-governmental stakeholders, and identify discrete, implementable, and interdisciplinary recommendations that will facilitate achievement of those goals.

Information, communication, and energy technologies have the potential to improve engineering education worldwide. With the availability of low cost, open-source microcontrollers/microcomputers, such as the Arduino and Raspberry Pi platforms, and a wide variety of sensors and communication tools, a range of engineering applications and innovations may be developed at a low price. Furthermore, the cost of solar panels and LED lamps have also dropped dramatically in recent years and these also allow for improved energy support in regions that lack energy access or require autonomous monitoring/processing. Also, low-cost 3D printers are now widely available for making simple prototypes of hardware. Finally, low-cost educational software tools have also become available. Combining these technologies enables engineering education to be brought into traditionally inaccessible communities in the world. In this book chapter, examples of how ICT and energy technologies are being used to teach students engineering technologies in underserved communities will be described. Application areas to be described will include environmental monitoring, clean water systems, and remote learning.
