In between special needs teachers and students: paraprofessionals work in self-contained classrooms for students with intellectual disabilities in Sweden

Abstract: Based on street-level bureaucracy, this study investigates the paraprofessional role and assignments in self-contained classrooms for students with intellectual disabilities in Sweden.
