However, borosilicate glass does not start to soften until 650-680 • C, thus, making it difficult for the single borosilicate glass coating to provide oxidation resistance below 650 • C. Therefore, the on-site repair coating with a single softening temperature range cannot suit the anti-oxidation requirements during the temperature rise [21,22].
