“…2 the g factors (g = μ/I ) for the odd-Z, even-N nuclei with N 126 are presented. Along with the results of the present work for 85 At isotopes, the data for 83 Bi ( [32] and references therein), 87 Fr ( [33,34]), and 89 Ac [35,36] isotopes are shown. Horizontal dotted lines mark the single-particle values of the g factors near doubly magic 208 Pb, for the relevant proton orbitals: π i 13/2 [37], π f 7/2 [38], and π h 9/2 (Schmidt estimation).…”

“…The actinium measurements were performed at three facilities using different laser resonance ionization spectroscopy methods while probing the same atomic transition. First, the neutron-deficient isotopes 212−215 Ac were investigated using both on-line in-gas-cell (i.e., 212−215 Ac) and in-gas-jet (i.e., 214,215 Ac) laser spectroscopy at the LISOL facility in Louvainla-Neuve, Belgium [27,30]. Second, the neutron-rich isotopes 225,227 Ac were studied using off-line perpendicular highresolution laser spectroscopy at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany [28,33].…”

“…where 215 Ac (with I = 9/2, g = 0.920(13) and a( 4 P • 5/2 ) = 2377(5){40} MHz [27,30]) was used as a reference to be consistent with the normalization applied in Ref. [30] for the neutron-deficient actinium isotopes. In this relation the hyperfine anomaly between 215 Ac and the neutron-rich actinium isotopes is neglected.…”

“…The in-gas laser ionization and spectroscopy (IGLIS) technique has been in continuous development at KU Leuven during the past three decades [16], with extensive work published on the characterization and optimization of its performance [17][18][19]. In-gas-cell laser spectroscopy experiments were performed on neutron deficient 57;59 Cu [20], 97−101 Ag [21], and 212−215 Ac [22] at the Leuven Isotope Separator On-Line (LISOL) facility coupled to the CYCLONE accelerator of the Centre de Ressources du Cyclotron at Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium). Information about ground-state properties of these nuclei, such as nuclear magnetic dipole moments, isotope shifts, and mean-square charge radii, were obtained.…”
