Abstract:Smooth blasting controls tunnel excavation contours and rock stability; however, it can lead to overbreaks and underbreaks due to rock mass anisotropy. Studying the Zigaojian tunnel of the Hangzhou-Huangshan Expressway, this research examined the effect of rock mass structure on smooth blasting quality.
