Abstract:This study presents in situ measurements of electrical resistance in pure Ti during severe plastic deformation (SPD) under high pressures. The process of high‐pressure sliding (HPS) is adopted for the SPD so that straining is feasible under various pressures covering α to ω allotropic phase transformation in pure Ti.
