“…The high‐resolution XPS spectrum of Si 2P showed peaks at 101.9, 102.45, 103.1, and 106.2 eV, which were assigned to Si─C, Si─O─C, Si─O─M (M = Mg/Al), and Si─O─Si bonds, respectively. The results revealed that self‐condensation reaction of the coupling agent formed Si─O─Si, simultaneously, and it could convincingly prove that the coupling agent was grafted onto the surface of LDH forming Si─O─M bond .
