Abstract:Divorced eutectic TiC (TiCE) influences the mechanical properties of TiC‐reinforced wear‐resistant steels. However, there is a lack of information with respect to the heterogeneous nucleation, growth, and formation mechanism of divorced TiCE. To this end, the morphology, orientation, and origin of the divorced TiCE in TiC‐reinforced wear‐resistant steel are thoroughly examined. Combined with the calculated planar disregistry between primary TiC (TiCP) and divorced TiCE and their actual orientation relationship… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
