In-Structure Response Spectra of an Auxiliary Building in a Nuclear Power Plant Considering Equipment–Structure Interaction

Abstract: A two-degree-of-freedom (two-DOF) equation of motion was derived in the frequency domain using a substructuring technique for efficiently calculating the in-structure response spectrum (ISRS) considering equipment–structure interaction.
