In vitro assays reveal inherently insecticide-tolerant termite symbionts

Abstract: Introduction: Termite symbionts are well known for conferring a myriad of benefits to their hosts. Bacterial symbionts are repeatedly associated with increased fitness, nutritional supplementation, pathogen protection, and proper development across insect taxa.
