Abstract:d-Glucaric acid (GA), one of the polyhydroxy dicarboxylic
acids, is known for its great potentials in the polymer, food, detergent,
and pharmaceutical industries. Here, we presented a highly efficient
synthesis of GA from starch by in vitro biotransformation (ivBT).
