Abstract:This study aimed to investigate the effects of in vitro digestion and fermentation of Physalis alkekengi polysaccharides(PAP) and short-chain fatty acids(SCFAs) on the gut microbiome. Human saliva-gastrointestinal digestion and fecal fermentation were simulated in vitro.
