“…The high failure rate of implantation after IVF could be related to chromosomal aberrations in embryos. Only 10% of embryos are capable of inducing normal pregnancy after embryo replacement (Rudak et al, 1984), while the remaining 90% die before or immediately after transfer (Johnson et al, 1981).
