Abstract: Treatment of hyperpigmented skin disorders by novel drug candidates without side effects remains an ongoing area of research. Chemically modified tetracyclines (CMTs) are a group of nonantimicrobial tetracycline drugs that have been shown to possess multiple pharmacological activities.
