Abstract:The global burden of Salmonella infections remains high due to the emergence of multidrug resistance to all recommended treatment antibiotics. Tetrahydroisoquinolines (THIQs) have demonstrated promising activity against multidrug-resistant (MDR) Salmonella Typhi.
