Inactivation of an x‐irradiated tumor by independent processes in in vivo

Abstract: An inactivation model is postulated for tumor-cell radiation response in vivo based upon the response to multiple independent processes. These are intrinsic cell radiation response (Process I), and immunological host resistance (Process 2 ) . A composite dose-efect relationship which arises is described. Experimental data found with the LSA mouse lymphoma are analyzed and show agreement with the model proposed.
