Ince–Gaussian beams propagation through turbulent atmospheric medium

Abstract: In this work, we reproduce the well-known Ince-Gaussian beams (IGBs) by expanding them in the Laguerre Gaussian basis. The established formula will permit us to derive the analytical expression of the average intensity of the IGBs propagating through the turbulent atmosphere by using the extended Huygens-Fresnel diffraction integral in the framework of Rytov theory.
