Abstract:We aimed to determine the frequency of human papillomavirus–independent (HPVI) cervical squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) and to describe clinicopathologic characteristics. Among 670 patients with surgically treated SCCs in an established multi-institutional cohort, 447 had available tissue.
