Incidence and Progression of Retinal and Vascular Lesions in Long‐term Diabetes

Abstract: The vascular changes which tend to develop in long-term diabetes are generally considered under two separate headings (Adlersberg (l), Burger (2)) :1. Disease of the larger and smaller arteries.2. Diabetic angiopathy in the strict meaning of the term, i. e. capillary lesions in the eye and in the kidney.
