Abstract:BackgroundVenous thromboembolism (VTE) is quite common among post-operative neurosurgical patients. This study aims to identify the incidence of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and superficial vein thrombosis (SVT) among post-craniotomy/craniectomy patients and further evaluate established hypercoagulability risk factors such as trauma, tumors, and surgery.
