Abstract:Although hoof deformities are frequently encountered in small cattle, this situation is ignored by breeder until the animal shows signs of lameness. Nail deformities, environment, nutrition and individual characteristics of the animal are effective in the occurrence of foot diseases. Overgrowth is the most common cause of lameness.
