Incommensurate charge-stripe correlations in the kagome superconductor CsV$_3$Sb$_{5-x}$Sn$_x$

Abstract: We track the evolution of charge correlations in the kagome superconductor CsV3Sb5 as its parent, long-ranged charge density order is destabilized. Upon hole-doping doping, interlayer charge correlations rapidly become short-ranged and their periodicity is reduced by half along the interlayer direction. Beyond the peak of the first superconducting dome, the parent charge density wave state vanishes and incommensurate, quasi-1D charge correlations are stabilized in its place. These competing, unidirectional cha… Show more

“…[349][350][351][352][353] So, what is the relation between CDW and superconductivity? Modulations such as chemical substitutions (CsV 3−x Nb x Sb 5 , [343] CsV 3 Sb 5−x Sn x , [354,355] KV 3 Sb 5−x Sn x , [356] and RbV 3 Sb 5−x Sn x [356] ) and thickness-dependent selective oxidation [357,358] have been utilized to answer this question but are not in mainstream. As a clean tuning method, pressure is mostly applied in the pursuit of the interplay between CDW and superconductivity.…”
