Incomplete Diaphyseal Atypical Femoral Fracture due to Increased Anterolateral Bowing

Abstract: Background:Increased anterolateral bowing of the femur is associated with atypical femoral fractures among older patients (including both those receiving and those not receiving treatment with bisphosphonates) as well as a greater likelihood of occurring in the diaphyseal versus the subtrochanteric region.
