Abstract: Mercury (Hg) is a highly toxic environmental contaminant that can harm human health, ultimately leading to endothelial dysfunction. Hg toxicity is partially mediated by the exposure of the cell membrane’s surface of erythrocytes (RBCs) to phosphatidylserine (PS).
