Increased Gastric Mucus Secretion Alleviates Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug-Induced Abdominal Pain

Abstract: Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) can cause dyspeptic symptoms, including abdominal pain. Gastric mucus is important as the first line of defense against luminal irritants.
