Increasing Growth of Renewable Energy: A State of Art

Abstract: The growth of renewable energy actively takes part in decarbonizing the fossil-fuel-based energy system. It reduces carbon emissions, carbon footprint, and greenhouse gas emissions and increases clean energy. The usage of renewable resources reduces and solves several problems, such as increasing temperature, carbon footprint, greenhouse gas emissions, and energy waste. Every sector contributes to increasing the above-mentioned factors in the environment. One of the main reasons for this biodegradation and cli… Show more

“…Many birds can fly over great distances because of the highly effective lift that their wings provide. The cambered form and swept-back leading edge of bird wings, as well as other aerodynamic characteristics, can be used to construct wind turbine blades [6]. This may help to increase the blades' effectiveness and cut down on energy use.…”

“…Innovative thoughts have always been stimulated by nature to create new designs. Plants as well as animals offer a variety of structures having lower density, higher strength and high energy absorption that can inspire new design concepts with important characteristics [1,6,27,[29][30][31]. Bio-inspired structures have been demonstrated to offer a significant improvement over traditional counterparts for their applications in the energy sectors, by observing the critical functions of biological structures found in nature.…”

“…The SDGs have 17 goals, most of which are related to the environment. The use of renewable energy is directly related to SDG goals 7 and 11 (affordable and clean energy), 12 (responsible consumption and production), and 13 (climate action) (Guchhait & Sarkar, 2023). Intensive research on renewable energy is needed for a variety of reasons, including climate change, global warming, environmental degradation, and limited natural resources.…”

“…Renewable energy has grown rapidly over recent years as a key aspect of the transition to a less energy-intensive and more sustainable energy system [1]. However, constant competition among companies, finances, taxes, politics, government pressures and other factors have, in many cases, created environmentally harmful situations [2].…”
