Students' creative thinking abilities are still limited in science learning development lectures. Students are only able to answer questions at the concept application level (C1-C3 or lower order thinking skill). This is due to the lack of variety in learning methods, lecture material has not been linked to contextual problems. This research aim is to analyze the creative thinking abilities of elementary teacher education students in elementary science learning development courses. This study uses mixed method. Sampling was carried out using random sampling involving 233 students from 8 different campuses. The research instrument consists of a test that includes 12 questions related to indicators of creative thinking skills (fluency, flexibility, originality, and collaboration), semi-structured interviews with 10 respondents to explore the understanding behind the answers given, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out through quantitative and qualitative data analysis which includes data reduction, data presentation, as well as drawing conclusions and verification. The research results show that of the four indicators of creative thinking, students are categorized as sufficient in the fluency aspect. However, the other three indicators, namely flexibility, originality, and elaboration are in the poor category. The interview results also revealed that the majority of respondents were unable to provide answers that were in accordance with the indicators of creative thinking achievement. The conclusion of this research is that three indicators of creative thinking, namely flexibility, originality and elaboration, need to be improved because they are categorized as lacking.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurang optimalnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik kelas XI SMA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan RPP dan e-module menggunakan model problem based learning yang valid, praktis dan efektif untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dengan karakteristik e-module berbantuan flip pdf profesional pada materi turunan fungsi aljabar. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan yang dilaksanakan dengan model pengembangan Plomp dimana terdiri dari atas preliminary research, prototyping phase dan assesment phase. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 3 Bukittinggi. Instrument pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, dokumentasi, angket dan soal tes. Data yang diperoleh analisis dengan teknik analisis data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Karakteristik penelitian ini berupa e-module berbantuan flip pdf profesional pada materi turunan fungsi aljabar kelas XI SMA semester 2 dalam penerapannya menggunakan syntaks yang terdapat dalam model problem based learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa RPP dan e-module berbasis problem based learning yang dikembangkan tergolong valid berdasarkan dari expert review untuk RPP yaitu sebesar 81.06% dan e-module sebesar 82.92%. Sedangkan hasil uji praktikalitas peserta didik dan pendidik adalah 77.82% dan 81.67% dimana e-module dikategorikan praktis. Selain itu efektivitas pesentase ketuntasan peserta didik yang mengikuti tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis untuk tahapan small group memperoleh persentase ketuntasan sebesar 83.33% dan pada tahap field test memperoleh persentase ketuntasan sebesar 81.82% sehingga dikategorikan efektif. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa RPP dan e-module berbasis model problem based learning pada materi turunan fungsi aljabar dikatakan valid, praktis, dan efektif

The teacher before carrying out the teaching and learning process must make a learning implementation plan (RPP). Making lesson plans before the teaching process is very important because it serves as a teacher's guide in carrying out learning in the classroom. There are still teacher problems in preparing lesson plans. The study aims to develop a HOTS-oriented thematic learning implementation plan (RPP) is to increase the main values of strengthening character education (PPK) for class IV students. This study used an experimental group of 10 students related to the implementation of HOTS-oriented thematic lesson plans in increasing student independence. Interviews, observations, and written documentation are the three primary methods of data gathering used in this investigation. Both qualitative and quantitative methods of data analysis are used in this process. The results of this study explain that the application of HOTS-oriented thematic lesson plans is proven to be able to significantly increase student independence. The advice that can be conveyed from the results of this study is the need for teacher support in planning, implementing, and evaluating the application of HOTS-oriented thematic lesson plans. Considering that this research was only carried out in an effort to increase student independence, future research can apply HOTS-oriented thematic lesson plans aimed at increasing learning achievement or other abilities in students.
