Increasing the Efficiency of Timber Road Trains on the Basis of Status Analysis and Introduction of a System Approach

Abstract

The problem of increasing the transport costs spent on the process of hauling timber by logging ve-hicles with a deterioration in the level of equipping of logging roads is considered. A promising direction for increasing the efficiency of timber road transport is proposed, associated with the use of promising technical solutions in its design. Within the framework of the system ap-proach, the structure of the main components of the methodology for researching and solving the problem of increasing the efficiency of logging road transport was developed while justifying the use of optimal options for units and systems of technological equipment in its design, taking into account the relationship of many factors based on the analysis of problem-containing, as well as problem-solving systems.
