Abstract:High Speed Single Frequency Network (HS-SFN) is a multicell transmission scheme for High-Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) that can assist user equipment (UEs) in the softer handover area by combining signals from two neighbouring cells and at the same time by reducing the inter-cell interference.
