Increasing the social participation of older rural residents: Opportunities offered by “OPTEACH”

Abstract: ProblemThe issues addressed in this article are two‐fold. Firstly, education about ageing is predominantly textbook‐based. Secondly, many rural older people face social isolation which impacts their health.
